This is a screenshot of a conversation I just had with someone on facebook. The photo that he shared says “Replace one word in a band’s name with the word ‘rape’. Post results.”
Underneath the original photo it says, “Don’t like the link? Ignore it.”This is rape culture at its fucking finest, people. Rape is funny, rape is a joke, and if you’re not in on the joke, you’d better ignore it or get off the internet because you don’t fucking understand humor.
It is THIS kind of mindset that promotes rape, and it’s more common than I think a lot of people realize. As I direct quoted in my last comment, virtually ALL RAPISTS GENUINELY BELIEVE THAT ALL MEN RAPE. This belief is constantly reaffirmed by the way the rest of mankind makes rape into something that’s supposed to be laughable and humorous. (x)
PLEASE, I am begging each and every one of you that happens to read this - if you see this kind of shit going down on your Facebook, twitter, tumblr, your circle of friends, wherever - SPEAK OUT. Shut that shit down. Don’t just walk away, don’t just laugh it off - this behavior is NOT okay and it is NOT going to change until people start speaking out about it and refusing to back down.

Why am I trying to be healthier?
- So that my dance training isn’t just burning off the shitload of fat/sugar/salt I’ve eaten
- to be more lean and toned.
- To have abs and leg muscles that people are jealous of
- to feel more awake and energetic
- for glowing skin
- for a bigger sense of achievement and happiness
so so worth it.
